We enjoyed a wonderful weekend in Gainesville with our dearest friends to celebrate the 4th of July. Our lovely host prepared a Strata (shown in the picture above) and it was quite lovely. I will definitely be using this concept for Christmas Breakfast this year. Never too early to start planning for the next big holiday! My Mom leaves for San Francisco in the morning and I will be joining her on Thursday. If only I didn't have to work for the next 4 days... We are also trying to pin down the details for a trip to Chicago in September with Mr. Foodie's parents.
